To celebrate America's independence, Park City packs its 4th of July itinerary with a host of all-day events. Many of these take place in the city park, including a pancake breakfast, free live entertainment and games for children, and an annual doubles volleyball tournament. There is also a 5K walk and run, a parade down Main Street followed by a picnic, and finally, a fireworks display at dusk.

Kicking off Independence Day weekend, Blood, Sweat & Tears brings unwavering soul to the stage. “One of the greatest groups the 1960s ever produced,” according to All Music Guide, BS&T celebrates 40 years of Grammy-winning tunes and attitude.

- 12:00 noon - Games and Entertainment at the City Park
- 1:00 PM - Utah Olympic Park - The Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Show. High flying Olympians along with national team members soar up to 60 feet in the air before landing in a 750,000 gallon pool. The 25-minute show is for the whole family.
- 7:30 PM - Join the Utah Symphony for an out-of-this-world July 4th celebration as it salutes the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Lunar Landing. Bring a picnic and your patriotic spirit as the orchestra performs against the purple mountain majesties and the great outdoors.
