Blood, Sweat and Tears and Chuck Berry coming to Deer Valley

Don't miss the 2009 St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Outdoor Concert Series at Deer Valley Resort brought to you by the Park City Performing Arts Foundation, which is a privately-funded nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing world-class performers to Park City.

July 3 - Kicking off Independence Day weekend, Blood, Sweat & Tears brings unwavering soul to the stage. “One of the greatest groups the 1960s ever produced,” according to All Music Guide, BS&T celebrates 40 years of Grammy-winning tunes and attitude. Part blues, part jazz, part rock with a brassy kick from a full-throttle horn section, the band of “Spinning Wheel” fame promises to get the series off to a grooving start on Friday, July 3.

August 29 - The “Father of Rock and Roll,” Chuck Berry brings classic rock to the stage on Aug. 29. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Berry isn’t one for resting on laurels. He’s a legend – and not just for that duck-walking signature move. Credited for bridging racial divides with music, Berry’s hits “Maybellene,” Johnny B. Goode” and “Memphis” still bring audiences of all backgrounds and ages together.
